The Writersville Gang Releases Free Christmas eBook

Just in time for the holidays, the Writersville Gang is happy to announce the release of their free downloadable 70-page eBook, "Season's Greetings from The Writersville Gang," filled with holiday stories and scrumptious recipes.

"Season's Greetings from The Writersville Gang" is the group's third free eBook written and produced entirely by the members of the online writing Yahoo! Group, The Writer's Life. The Writersville Gang also wrote and produced "A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to Getting Published" and "Haunted Happenings."

"I'm really excited about this eBook," says Dorothy Thompson, editor of The Writer's Life, and moderator of the online group. "What a wonderful way to send greetings out to our many friends than with an electronic book of stories and recipes? It's just our way of sending gratitudes and thanks for patronizing us. It also gives readers an idea of what an eBook is all about so they won't be apprehensive in purchasing eBooks in the future. Print and electronic means of publishing both have their places in this world. With our free eBooks, we want to show people how easy they are to download and read. Ebooks have come a long way. Print books will never disappear because of them, thank goodness, but it is nice to be able to have a format that we can access immediately without having to wait. That's the beauty of eBooks.
